The Certificate Provides Competency-Based Training and Assessment
Target Audience
MINRES Training Institute has several course options available to suit employeer and student requirements.
You an choose from:
- 1 day Course for students who have at least 6 months experience in the resources industry
- 2 day Course for new-to-industry students;
- Online Refresher Course for experienced persons
- Continuous Induction for employers with a large workforce to maintain
Duration and Delivery
The duration of this course is 6-12 months depending on the candidates’ experience.
The course is delivered via the following:
- Face to face at your workplace
- Online self paced assessment
- On-demand Personal Trainer
Packaging Rules
Participants must successfully complete the following units of competency to be issued with a Statement of Attainment:
- RIICOM201E – Communicate in the workplace
- RIIGOV201E – Comply with site work processes/procedures
- RIIWHS201E – Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
- RIIRIS201E – Conduct local risk control
- RIIERR205D – Apply initial response First Aid
- RIIERR302E – Respond to local emergencies and incidents
